Lohan's Lawyer -- Dr. Murray Does NOT Deserve 4 Years in Prison

Filed under: Shawn Holley, Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson, Celebrity Justice, Exclusive

Lindsay Lohan's lawyer is coming to the defense of Conrad Murray ... claiming the Doc should NOT get the maximum sentence for manslaughtering Michael Jackson ... because it just wouldn't be fair.

With Murray's sentencing hearing set for tomorrow in L.A. -- we asked the effervescent Shawn Holley if Conrad deserves the 4 year prison sentence he's expected to receive.

Holley makes it clear she doesn't excuse Murray's "horrible" crime ... but claims he shouldn't get the full sentence because, "He has no record."

Murray's hearing is set to begin at 8:30 AM tomorrow -- TMZ will be livestreaming the whole thing.

Angie Lets Her Crazy Hang Out In The Open

"Locks kids in bedrooms while she gets drunk..." Isn't that called a natural human maternal instinct? If you're not old enough to know that "on the rocks" is for amateurs since ice just gets in the way, then be gone with you. Go upstairs and blast your happy little music, because the last thing I need is some child messing with my buzz by crying when I start breaking empty bottles on the floor lamp for looking at me funny. Hiccup. Burp. Crash. But apparently, St. Angie's former assistant thinks that banishing your kids to their bedrooms during "mommy time" is considered crazy. Yup, that assistant is the kind of bitch who will judge with their eyes when you piss in the kitchen sink, because your legs are too drunk to make it the hallway bathroom.

In this week's holiday week issue (aka The 'We're Out Of This Bitch Early So Just Make Shit Up" issue) of InTouch Weekly, one of Angie's assistant says that she may come off as the epitome of calm when the cameras are around, but when she's out of the public eye her true colors (every color being a bright shade of INSANE) break out of their straitjacket and come out to play. The source puts it like this: "She tries to hide it, but she has a crazy side to her

First Hot Slut Of The Day!

Martinelli's Sparkling Cider, the first choice of the Thanksgiving children's table when all efforts to smuggle cups of sweet nectar from the adult's table have failed.

Watching hours of Dynasty, Beverly Hills Teens and Robin Leach gave me a taste for the finer things in life as a child, so I refused to nibble on a clot of Stove Top or swallow a slimy sliver of canned cranberries without washing it all down with the finest aged shampagne from the vineyards of Martinelli. At Thanksgiving times, my mother let my sister and I sip some Martinelli's out of the crystal flutes she won at her work's holiday party one year, so the whole experience was extra luxurious to me. Sipping that shit out of a real champagne flute made me feel like I was soaking in a bubble bath with diamonds all over my neck. Even though Martinelli's is what you get when a bottle of Andre pisses after eating a bushel of apples, it looked like real champagne to me. Some for real fancy shit.

So if you want your Thanksgiving dinner table to drip with expensive sophistication, get a bottle of that mess. Although, nowadays I take my Martinelli's with ten shots of apple vodka.

Happy Thanksgiving!

?Boil Japan?: Watch Yoda Shill for Instant Noodles in Japanese Commercial

comments: 1 || add yours

“Believe in your own power, you must.” Words of wisdom from Star Wars guru Yoda have finally found their true purpose: Instructing a nation of instant noodle-eaters to activate their inborn power… to boil water! Seriously. You thought Vader’s “Nooooo!” was blasphemous? Where’s your god now, nerds?

To be fair, I’m sure the whole of Star Wars fandom has done its part to keep the instant ramen industry alive through the generations. And the Japanese love Star Wars. Maybe Yoda and noodles were always two great tastes that taste great together?

I’ll admit, I understand the Nissin marketing team’s choice of tagline even less: “Boil Japan.” Boil Japan? I hardly know Japan! (groan)

Anyways, sure. Eat some Cup Noodles while wearing your new Tauntaun Nikes or whatever. George Lucas will really sign off on anything, won’t he?

Bad News, Julia Roberts: Mirror, Mirror?s Online Praise Might Be Studio-Generated

comments: 3 || add yours

Last week, you and I watched the first trailer for Tarsem Singh’s Mirror, Mirror in slack-jawed horror. (After all, aren’t Snow White adaptations supposed to be about the titular princess and not Julia Roberts’s aging concerns, Bollywood dance numbers and Armie Hammer’s impression of a dog?) Surprisingly though, not all of the Internet’s feedback was negative. A few brave souls commented on the Relativity trailer enthusiastically — and now MovieMavericks.com is claiming that some of those suspicious thumbs-up reviews came from the same source.

MovieMavericks.com points out that several “strangely optimistic comments” posted to their own Mirror, Mirror trailer write-up originated from the same IP address. Upon Google-searching those comments, MovieMavericks discovered that the same IP address user had posted the same positive reviews on other movie websites — leading them to believe that either A) There is just a very dedicated Brooklyn-based Tarsem Singh fan who is hellbent on raising the bar for Mirror, Mirror buzz. Or B) The studio (or a party involved with the film) is having someone do some web damage control on the atrocious-looking trailer.

Among the copied and pasted positive remarks that MovieMavericks.com cites:

· “Julia Roberts is going to be awesome as the Evil Queen. She’s such a good actress!”

· “Definitely seeing this with my boyfriend! Can’t wait to see Lily Collins in action!!”

· “Tareem [sic] Singh makes awesome movies. Immortals was amazing and this will be too.”

For the record, the only positive comments that the trailer received when Movieline

Sugarland Lawsuit -- You Could Have PREVENTED Deadly Concert Disaster

Filed under: Sugarland, Celebrity Justice

The country duo Sugarland is being sued by dozens of people who claim they were injured in a devastating stage collapse at a concert in Indiana earlier this year ... all because the band allegedly failed to cancel the show when they KNEW the weather was getting bad.

More than 40 people -- including the estates of people who died in the accident -- filed the suit against the band in Indiana ... claiming the members of Sugarland had the authority to cancel the show because of bad weather.

According to the docs, Sugarland "failed" to call it off ... putting the fans in grave danger.

Moments before the performance on August 13, powerful winds blew in and knocked over the stage -- killing 7 people and injuring more than 45.

Sugarland isn't the only defendant in the lawsuit -- the alleged victims are also demanding unspecified damages from concert promoter Live Nation, ESG Security and the stagehands’ union.
